Creative community spaces like the new UnionDocs in Ridgewood are so important today. Cinema. Listening room. Residency. Workshops. Gallery. Cafe. And still-to-be-invented uses. For so many of us, it is this DIY ethos that has defined UnionDocs since it started over 20 years ago in a formerly abandoned liquor store in Williamsburg and powerfully continues today.
